Starting seeds outside

Hello to you all,

I have potted a few seeds and left them covered but outside as its been quite warm. Its been 3 days and I see no shoots. 
Should I take them inside? 
The trays are wet and were getting a lot of sun. 
I know it gets cold at night this maybe stopping germination?

    Three days is too short a time to see anything.
    Many seeds will germinate outside and many won't. What have you got?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    You need to give them a bit longer and are they hardy? Not all plants will germinate without a bit of help at this time of year, some need a lot of help!

    Hello

    I have petunias, lupins, sunflowers and dahlias. Waiting on some coleous too.

    Its the first time I have attempted this.  
    I can bring them in...

    If you have space inside,I would bring them in. It would be quicker, even for the ones that would eventually germinate outside.
    Once, germinate d, the weather will have probably warmed up a bit and you can put the hardy ones outside.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
