Please can someone help me to identify this? It's quite woody, like a lavender. It had beautiful blue/purple lavender like flowers on it last year.

I would say hebe but there are so many different hebes it’s impossible to say which one

Hadn't thought of a Hebe, I'll have a look. It's very woody on one side. Is there anything I can do to encourage growth that side or tidy it up?
