Raised beds plant advice please - is Euphorbia too big?

RubyBRubyB Posts: 9
Hello, I'd appreciate advice on planting for raised beds 200cm length, 60cm wide by 40cm deep.  Is Euphorbia suitable or is it going to become massive?  I saw one in a garden today and it was huge which made me think it's too big for raised beds. Should I take it out now whilst it's still small? Sorry for daft question.

    Which Euphorbia do you have?
    Some are huge...others are small.
Some can be very invasive..eg Euphorbia cyparissias Fens Ruby.

It's the Humpty Dumpty one so up to 60cm which I think will be ok! Thanks for replying.

    Hi Ruby

Ive got two Euphorbia Characas (excuse me if I’ve spelt the second part wrong!) They can get relatively big but you can cut the ‘flowered’ stems right back down to the base when they have finished.

Yes you should. Be careful of the sap don't get it on your skin and definitely not in your eyes. Very painful!
    In London. Keen but lazy.
