Distracting the eye...

I'm trying come up with a new design for my garden and have already had lots of excellent feedback - thank you very much.

My quandary comes from not knowing where to position a patio/seating area. The garden is north-facing so the top right of the plans below receive the most sun. That's where I wanted to place a patio, but the view isn't great:

I don't want to plant a line of conifers because it blocks too much light. Do you have any suggestions for how we can distract the eye from the bridge? Funnily I don't notice it most of the time - only when testing this potential patio area.

I think it needs some kind of distraction... Maybe a tree to break up the huge mass of white? Eg planted near the climbing honeysuckle. But I wouldn't want it to have too many leaves as I don't want to introduce much more shade. Any ideas? Or something other than a tree?

By the way, this is the current thinking for the plan (nothing set in stone at this stage... just playing with ideas):

A wooden pergla over the seating area, some delicate climbers, so as not to produce shade, honeysuckle, jasmine, climbing roses, all nicely scented and can be in pots, a grape vine.  You wont be able to hide the whole of the bridge, you are going to lhave to live with that, what goes over it?
