Help with plant identification please

Hi there,

I'm hoping for some help with identifying the plant shown in the photos below (please ignore bramble and nettle leaves!). My parents think it's ground elder but from what I can tell ground elder is lower and more ground covering than this, where as this seems to be one single plant that's very much growing up, and into the trellis as you can see. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Jo.

    Elderberry?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Yes Elderberry ... Sambuccus nigra

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Oh great, I was starting to wonder that as I put this post up. Definitely better news than ground elder. Thanks both!
