Lilliums

ive had lilliums in a pot, they are now starting to sprout again but there is too many in the pot, is it too late to separate bulbs and replant.? Should I just put the whole thing in a flower bed as it it or should I separate? I don’t want to run the risk of killing it off. Thank you

    You can do either. I've just split up a potful and replanted in a border. 
    If you do it carefully, they should  be fine  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
