Plant ID

Last year I was given 4 bulbs but the donor didn't know what they were. I put them in a pot in the greenhouse and this is the result. Any ideas what they are please?

I’d say alliums. But they’re not well. They’ve missed out on something - light, cold, nutrition. Someone else here might know specifically.

    Allium Nectaroscordum I think.
If you get them outside - acclimatised first, they'll be much happier.
    Lovely plants.  :)

Is it the same plant @Lyn

  • Thanks everyone, the general consensus here and in a Facebook group I also quizzed, is that it is Nectaroscordum siculum 'Sicilian honey garlic'.
I will harden them off and let the bees have their fill before planting them out in the border in September/October.
