BEDDING GERANIUMS

last year I put some old geraniums (these are the big headed type) in the greenhouse to over winter. They have now sent up shoots from the base of the plants. Is it best to leave them to flower or is it best to remove as cuttings to start again. Have I got 
enough time for them to grow and flower this year. Many thanks for your thoughts. Valerie

    You can prune some of last year’s growth, but leave the new shoots to flower. They will grow into even bigger plants and give you lots more flowers. I have pelargoniums that are at least 5 year old and they perform marvellously.

    You can’t see very well, but these are one plant of each. Give some some feed weekly if you aren’t doing so already.
