    It does favour a agapanthus.

    Ooo that would be nice. I had an intuition it might be something worth saving from the weedy jungle at the front of the house. Thank you.

    As the shoots at the base are blue/purple, that should mean the flowers will be like that, and not white.  Or at least that is my experience from the ones we have grown.  Give them a weekly feed, you will be more guaranteed to get more flowers.
