Hello can anyone identify this (I think it might be a weed?) first photo is a young sprout and second is a full fledged plant but they’re the same thing - growing in shade and around a pond. Thank you 😊

The second plant is growing in shade around a pond - I thought maybe Solomon’s seal but I have not planted this! It’s the plant in the foreground with dangly bits (for want of a better description 😂)

    1. A variety of Hogweed
    2. Solomons Seal.

Thank you both - having googled hogweed I will be donning gloves and long sleeves and pulling all that up today in case it’s the giant variety - “causes burns and blisters”? - no thanks! It’s everywhere though ☹️ Glad I didn’t find out the hard way 😊 pleased about the Solomon’s seal 😊

It’s not Giant hogweed ... it’s the sort we used to pick for pet rabbits when we were children. Fine bristled hairs  that can irritate skin but we used to carry arms full of it with bare arms. No need for a hazmat suit for that at least 😉
