Lifting and storing tulips?

Has anyone had any success doing this? Most of what I've read advises treating tulips as annuals but I'm loathe to throw them away if there's a decent chance they might bloom next year 🤔

thanks - yes it was the pot I was after :-) I've dug them up now an cleaned them and will try that route this time round (replant in the autum) - let's see! they looked amazing this first time round!
