When to turn of the propogator
in Fruit & veg
Hello I am looking for some advice.
I have grown from seed some aubergines and peppers in a propagator (vitapod) in my green house the plants are quite healthy and doing well I would like to transfer them to grow bags in the green house this will give me back a lot of space . Do you think it would be safe to this my green house has a small oil filled radiator that will come on the temperature drops to 6 degrees. Last year I grew aubergines outside from the beginning of May but the crop was not great .

It's not just the temperature, the leaves are use to a fairly humid environment in a propagator ,so the plants will benefit from gentle acclimatization to life outside their incubator.
Straight out, it is a shock to them and you may see they get set back or worse, leaves dry out and go crispy.
Once they are use to the environment in the greenhouse, they should be fine.
