Plant id please

This is a wild folower in Scotland. Growing wild amonst the grass. Any ideas?

    I don't know , but it does have only 4 petals, which is unusual so you might be able to narrow it down significantly using some plant identifier.

    We call it Ladies Tresses, I wonder where all these regional names came from. Every area call it something different.
