Chive and kale seedlings

I’ve never sown chives from seed. To repot is it each single seedling for a plant? Plse see the picture. Also for the kale - should I now repot - very leggy or will them improve. Thanks Louise

    I’d pot the chives in small clumps. 

    The kale has got very leggy ... can you get them into more light?  Are they on a heated mat or similar? If so turn it off now they’ve germinated. 

    As soon as the kale gets its first proper leaves (not those little seed leaves) prick them out into individual pots ... plant them deep .. you can bury the stem right up to the first leaves.

    thank you for your help. The kale is in a room which isn't great for light.
