Easy Maintenance Oxygen Producing plants for Bedroom - Advice please

Morning all.

Read an article about the benefit of house plants in the bedroom. Whilst it wasn't an obvious fit for us, the more I think about it, why not?

Interested in ideas for small foot print and growth height plants that are easy to maintain and that are good oxygen producers and CO2 absorbing. 

More than I don't know. Have to say, I've only had 4 or 5 questions I've posted on this site but have followed advice from each fully and had incredible results as a junior slopes gardener. Really pleased. Fingers crossed for some equally excellent advice this time.

    Hi Atacama, some plants that are adapted to desert living do indeed convert CO2 to o2 at night, but in normal bedroom temperatures these effects are at best, limited (and largely overstated by the woo merchants).
    However, it's been shown that plants such as aloe and sanseveria are good at scrubbing the air of pollutants like hydrocarbons so, as you say, why not?

    I read not long ago on the BBC site that whilst NASA found that plants did help clean the air on the ISS around 10 plants per square foot would be needed to have a beneficial effect in a room in a typical house - which would be quite a challenge
