Olive tree in container

jamesholtjamesholt Posts: 593
this tree has been in this container for two years and is my first and only olive tree.  It produces lots of olives and has doubled in size. Can it continue in a small container and remain small?

Yes, in theory, but it will be entirely dependent on you to provide adequate feeding and watering and I do think that container is too small even for that size of tree.

  • We have one in a container (3 years) repotted it twice (in a pot way bigger than yours now though!) and it’s thriving! Our aim is to put in ground when we move into our forever home so will be following this thread with interest!
