Verbena help

This plant which I bought last year seems to be struggling to grow. I have put it in the sun and keep watering it as it dries during this hot sunny spell but wonder if I’m doing the right thing or not. Any suggestions are very welcome.

    I think that may be a 'trailing verbena' which aren't fully hardy in the UK so it's done well to survive the winter.  They are usually used as annuals here.  I think all you can do is cut it back and if the roots are still alive, it will grow new shoots.  If the roots have died, the bit of greenery you have left will continue to die off.

    I'd agree with @BobTheGardener - but maybe re-pot as well. It will have no nutrition left whatsoever.
    A good watering as well, and see if it picks up.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
