What's wrong with my plant?

This was a thriving plant till a few weeks ago. Now it's partly drooping and there is a lot of brown spotting and marks.  It's not been subjected to any accidental pesticide or indeed any attention at all.  Would love some advice on what to do now.  Thanks in advance.

They aren't very tough plants. They need sharp drainage, and a warm environment to thrive. Wet, cold weather sees them off. They're Mediterranean plants, so they need that kind of climate.

    Convolvulus.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Thanks for that.  This one has survived its current location through the last 3 winters without mishap.  Puzzling.

It may have survived, but it's suffering from poor weather. Excess wet mainly, which weakens the plants, and leaves it susceptible to other pests and diseases.
It also needs good  airflow - there are a lot of other plants all around it. That doesn't help it either.
You can take off all the damaged foliage, where there's new, clean growth below. Avoid doing it if there are frosts forecast though.

  • Thank you very much.  We will be moving house later in the year, I think I'll just leave this one for someone else!
