ID of this tree please?

Hello, does anyone know what this tree might be please? The photo was sent to me from a self-isolating friend (her) to self-isolating me. I wonder if it's a plum tree?

    Unfortunately it is very hard to tell from your friend's photo. Cannot see the buds properly and the trunk properly. I think the best thing is to ask her to inspect the blossoms carefully. If the individual flower has a small split/cleft on each petal edge, it's almost certainly a cherry tree. If not, more likely a plum tree.

    The way it's 'trussed up', I wondered if it's a sucker from the trunks that are behind it.

    That had also occurred to me. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
