Cordylines and ericaceous compost

Hi, I’m about to repot my cordylines into a larger tub but have bought ericaceous compost, must admit I wasn’t sure what I’d bought, I just that it had 4 months of feed! Complete novice to gardening.
Anyway, my question is, is it ok to use this compost or will it harm my nicely growing cordylines please?

I wouldn't think it would make any difference  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Thank-you. I wasn’t sure as I read after I’d bought it that ericaceous compost was for plants that like acidity. I figured it might be ok for others but wanted to make sure I don’t kill my cordys! My ex always said I had red fingers not green lol!!
