My potted David Austin rose bush leaves have become wilted. It has been in the same spot for about 3 months and has grown well but the last week or so it appears really droopy. I have been watering it every couple of days as I thought the reason for the wilting could be because there hasn’t been much rain recently but it doesn’t appear to have helped. Can anybody suggest any tips?

Do you plan to plant it in the ground? If yes, I would do this as soon as possible. If you don't have space in the ground, replant to a larger pot, 45x45cm minimum if you want to keep that rose in the pot long term. For one season, you can get away with a smaller pot but it will need watering often.

Which variety of David Austin rose is it ? Watering twice a day isn't really necessary, you may end up killing it with kindness. Even in very hot weather, once a day is enough.
The best thing is to stick your finger into the compost around 2 inches deep (old school), as even though it looks dry on the top, the compost may still be very wet further down.

If it doesn’t have the word ‘Golden’ or ‘Jubilee’ in front, it is probably the Celebration 2000, which seems to be the most compact and probably best suited to growing in a large pot. I have Golden Celebration, which gets tall with floppy stems that need support and is really, imho, better in the ground. A few other forum members grow Jubilee Celebration, so let us know which one you think it might be and we can help with more specific advice on growing it.
I have Celebration 2000 and it has some red colouring I can't see above...
Best of luck with your rose Laura
According to the website it's okay for a pot...
