Can you do bulb lasagnes with summer bulbs?!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my spring bulb lasagnes this year - my patio has given me so much joy. Can you do the same with summer bulbs - if so could anyone give any suggestions about bulb combos to layer in pots?

On another note, are there summer bulbs you can put in containers and that can stay in them all year round? Or do they all need lifting and storing?

Thank you :)

Just stick to the usual rule of putting the biggest bulbs at the bottom and work your way up.

Really up to you if you try to get them to do a second year. If they are kept fed all the time and there was room in the pot, try it (though you might have to consider frost protection over the winter months for summer bulbs). If you want to play safe, lift and replant, renewing the growing medium.

As for combinations, literally dozens of suggestions on the internet, though I usually just make up my own, part of the fun.
