ID Please!

Hi guys; can anybody tell me what these flowers are please? They grow on tiny corms and spread like wildfire! No matter how much we attempt to uproot them, we turn around, and they're back again!!! They are also quite pungent when pulled... MANY thanks in advance... Cheers; Lee

Possibly a type of allium ?

Possibly Ipheion uniflorum, which is a member of the Allium family.

Well they are related to Alliums, but they are more likely to be Ipheion (aka Tristagma) uniflorum.

Confused.
Not Allium...definitely Ipheion...some sources place it in the genus Tristagma
