What are the chances?...
...of getting our container plants by mid-May? Four hanging baskets, one window box, and many containers for the patio mean I normally get quite a lot. Then there are the 6 bags of potting compost, the vermiculite/perlite and the slow-release fertilizer. And my order is not nearly as large as some others. Hopefully, the govt. will allow the garden centres to open first - after all, most of them have big carparks that can be coned for flow and then people receive a number for entry. I was hearing this morning that one wholesaler has 8 million pounds worth of spring stock which will possibly be destroyed, but these tend to be bedding plants (too early for those anyway). I can get dahlias on-line but I do like variety...what are others thinking?

Do you have any old compost left over from last years pots that you can reuse?
Even if there's not enough for all you want to do, you might be able to scrape together enough for a couple of baskets or the window box.
