Sowing Hardy Half/Hardy Annual Seeds

harmonyharmony Posts: 403
Hi, I've got 2 packs of mixed annuals, one pack is early flowering hardy  and the other one is a hardy/half hardy mix. I've never sown annuals before apart from nasturtiums so is it ok to sow now. Thanks..

Yes it's fine to sow hardy annuals now harmony.
If you're sowing outside remember where you sowed them as lots of weeds are also appearing this time of year. If you're sowing in trays, they don't need to be inside unless it's frosty.
Half hardy seeds need to be kept reasonably warm to germinate and grow. It should tell you on the packet how to sow them, but they need to be kept frost-free all of their lives or they'll likely die
