Can anyone help me identify this please?

    There’s a few things that look like that ... Sweet Rocket Hesperis Matronalis is the first one that came to mind. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I think it's a Digitalis species. Possibly lutea?

    Thankyou @Asarum. Interestingly I planted digitalis purpurea there a few years ago but they didn’t seem to come back

    I have D. lutea and D. purpurea close together in my garden and now have a hybrid lutea which is flushed with pink!

    That's not something I grow ...
