Transplanting Gaura
I grew Gaura The Bride from seed last year and was amazed how quickly they grew and flowered.
However, I had so many that I have 12 that are still in 2L pots and growing well.
Today I decided it was time to plant them out, but the tap root has grown down into the soil below the pots and if I lift a pot the tap root (about 1/2" dia.) snaps off at the base of the pot.
Will they recover, or are the ones still in pots headed for the compost?
Thanks
