Fat worms in containers

Ive been repotting my dahlias, complete with resident fat worms, in large containers . Beneficial or makes no difference?
In London. Keen but lazy.

    I always think that if the worms weren't happy they'd have moved on ... but that being said I usually pop the big ones in the veg patch and cover them up and leave the smaller ones in the pot.  Not sure why ... it's just what I do 😁

    They were a bit creepy, crawling in and out between the tubers. Alas poor Yorik and all that😕
