  Not mine but I am going for a Fuschia.  My friend just wants to know if it needs cutting back or to leave it?

  Was this a plant found in UK?
  
  When you zoom in to the pics and enlarge I can see small white flowers.
  Doesn't look like Fuchsia.  
  Please may we have clear close ups

  I'd guess at some variety of shrubby salvia.

  Sorry but I disagree.
  Cistus have largish flowers. Flat, open...see pics below
