Hi I’m new here we have a small garden with half full sun and half full shade! Last year we got 3 citrus trees. One (bigger) is in the full sun and has survived the winter. The other 2 are in the shaded areas and we’re doing well. But have dropped all their leaves just wondering if anyone can tell from the photos what to do! I’ve now moved into the full sun area. Thank you
Have these been outside all winter? Citrus need a frost free environment in winter, and watering reduced to a minimum. Kept inside against a radiator, they often drop leaves but will recover. Prune dead brown wood off, it should resprout from green wood.
No not enough light or heat. Need full sun and at least 10°C to 20°C to kick start growth. A window ledge or conservatory is best as this will need to be done every year. P.S. They will need to be inside the house from first frost until May every year.
