    Hosta - Its rather big, not hairy or prickly so I have my doubts. It's not easy to gauge the size from the photo.

    Measured it - it's about 34cm tall and has two flower spikes. Maybe these photos are better.

    Indeed, there's something familiar about it and it worries me that it's a pernicious monster weed like rosebay willow herb etc.

    Hmm, hope it's a white one because I hate that shade of pink.
