Garden Greenhouse Advice
Hi all,
First time posting on this forum so I'm hoping I have this in the right place
My dad has received a letter from the NHS saying he has to self-isolate for 12 weeks due to an underlying lung condition (he is otherwise pretty fit and healthy and would normally be working full time in a semi-manual position).
He loves farming and gardening and is struggling with the boredom of being stuck indoors for 12 weeks. I live with him but work from home so my risk to him isn't very high.
I was thinking of purchasing a plastic greenhouse (such as this one: shorturl.at/dDKRT) to keep him busy in the coming months and summer (and then probably take it down again in Autumn when the weather deteriorates).
We live in Northern Ireland and I was wondering if anyone could advise on any plants or vegetables that would be suited for planting at this time of the year and would be good 'summer projects' for him? He has a lot of experiencing farming so wouldn't necessarily need to plant things at 'beginner level'.
Thanks for any help!

My comment would be, if he's growing fruit and veg, then make sure it's something you both like to eat !
Tomatoes, mini cucumber, peppers perhaps? If it's in a sheltered location, it can get pretty warm.
