Too soon to pinch out newly planted Portuguese laurel??

Hi....I planted some Portuguese laurel in October and the nursery told me to pinch out the tips in spring.....should I wait a while longer ( its still quite frosty at night) or could I do it now?? Nursery is closed due to covid.

    Probably better to wait until you have no frost forecast, although a degree or two of frost is nothing. Depends on what size and how well they're doing too. 

    Give it a couple of weeks when they should be growing away well, to be on the safe side. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
