Ivy propagation - yes really!

If I  propagate this ivy, does it make any difference  how much variation is on the bit I  choose for a cutting
I want as much yellow  as possible 







My predecessor (sp?) Must have been an ivy freak. Theres about half a dozen varieties  along the shady side of the garden

    I think it does ... I would choose a piece with the markings I wanted to replicate.

    I'd take plenty, then pick those you like best once they start growing

    I really like some bits of that ivy  :)

    Has anyone any idea which one it is ........... long shot but ................ ?

    It's quite similar to Sulphur Heart. There's a gold one too - so probably something of that type  :)
