White stuff on rosemary

Hey all

does anyone know wheat the white stuff is on my rosemary?

    A photo would be handy.

    That's just normal dieback due to weather etc. You'll need to cut all the dead stuff back.
    Rosemary is quite difficult to keep going in the UK, even with good, free draining soil.
    Take care that you do it when you haven't got a period of frost forecast. The odd frost would be fine, but not a week of it.  :)

    It's in a pot - it wouldn't survive out in the garden. Mine is undercover in the greenhouse in winter, and I've only recently started taking it out during the day and it's now outside. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Your rosemary may be attacked by something, possibly Rosemary Beetle. You may not notice anything now, but they may be spotted in the summer time. Keep an eye out later in the year.

    Could it be a fungus?

    Rosemary beetles are attractive metallic green or bronze coloured . Squash them and inspect for more every day. You might or might not save the plant, but you'll stop them from moving on to anything else and if a replacement is necessary,it should be safe.
