Lack of flowers on Rowan tree this year.
Hi everyone. I have a beautiful healthy rowan tree that has been covered with flowers then berries for the last 2 years. This year I have lots of healthy leaves but not a single flower. Can anyone suggest if there is a feed I should be giving it? We have clay soil but this is not a problem as it has flourished and is still growing very well, just lacking buds. Grateful for any advice. Thanks Judith

I think you're getting a little impatient (quite understandably we're all looking for something to cheer us up). I'd not expect to see flower buds on a rowan yet ... they usually bloom in May, around here at least.

Clay soil is perfect for them @judithporch1 . They grow in a some very inhospitable spots, or the native one does anyway. They like plenty of moisture, so it may just have been suffering a bit if the ground was very dried out last year.
I'd agree with @wild edges that it might just be taking a year off. It should recover and be fine
