Please can you help?


The first - what are the little blue flowers to the left of the anemones?
The second- I'm not sure if the green leave are weeds or a plant. I know the woody bits are not related and are a shrub.

    The blue flowers are Chionodoxa (bulbs.)  The second may be Honesty (Lunaria annua) but not certain.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I agree with chionodoxa for the first. 

    The second looks to me like something from the lamium family. Is the stem square in cross section?

    It looks a bit like Lemon balm in which case the leaves will smell strongly of lemon when crushed ... lemon balm is certainly good and getting itself entangled in the crowns of other plants.  Or it could be a type of deadnettle. 

    We’ll have more idea when it flowers. But first check out the shape of the stem
    and smell of the leaves.

    1.- I agree with Chionodoxa. Mine are in full bloom at the moment. Lovely sight!
    2.- @Dovefromabove is right to ask about stem section shape and smell. I wish more posters asking for ID would not rely only on photos of same, but would provide more details re plant height, habit, smell, etc.

    Thanks all, I will do further checks on the leaves of second. I began to think it was a nettle so rubbed it and it definitely doesn't sting. I can't remember what was there last year (flowers/colour/height etc) so I may just have to wait
