Query with new laurel hedge

I am looking for some advice, I have just plant a new bare rot Portuguese laurel hedge and it looks very droopy.

Is this normal our do I need to do something to help it along.

You need to pull all the rubble away from it , enrich the soil and give it a bucket full of water.

Your probably stuck at the moment because you shouldn’t go out, but when you can you can buy some well rotted farmyard manure, or  some bone meal, depending on how good your soil is. If it’s good soil you can just use a few handfuls of a powdered manure, if your soil is claggy, hard, Clay or generally poor, it will benefit from manure or if you’ve got a compost heap going, a few shovels of that will do it.
