Where to put my Greenhouse?

Hi
i have a new octagonal greenhouse (very excited) but am really unsure about where I can site it in the garden. Our garden faces South West. There are lots trees at the bottom  but obviously create shade. Just want it to look nice and also be functional. Any help advise be amazing !

In an ideal world, they're best sited so the ridge runs North / South , that way the east gets full sun in the morning, at noon it's shining the full length and in the evening the west gets full sun.
In reality , few of us have this luxury as site often dictates where it goes.
Try to avoid shade where possible ( you can create shade  ,, but you can't make sunshine )

Basically try and put it where it will get the most sunshine. As Hosta says you can create shade, but not sunshine.
Being octagonal the orientation is irrelevant.
I hope you enjoy your new greenhouse, they are very addictive! - and never big enough!
