Sorry - don't know what this means - which text box? Is the icon on this site or in My Pictures?? You obviously have to be a tech expert to post on here
@lizmac on here ... you know the box where it says 'type your comment' ... just above that there's a row of icons ... one is a little landscape in a frame ... click on there and follow the instructions ... if you're posting on a ipad or phone you can select the option to take the picture with that device and it'll upload immediately. OR if the photo is already on your device you select the option 'Choose files' and you'll be able to search through your photos and select the one you want to upload.
Then a blue line line will travel left to right across the top of the text box and the picture will have uploaded.
If it still doesn't work let us know.

Yes i did do that but will try again as don't remember seeing any choice given - just tried it again but still get "File is too large - please resize your image to 6MB or lower. (max 6291456 bytes)" So resized again as before but still got same message on here ..yet picture properties inform size is only 106kb - I give up!!
Just a thought - once you have re-sized your photo, are you saving it? You have to save the file once you've done the re-sizing or it'll just re-load the big file each time.
PS I've had both foxes and badgers dig holes in my lawn. Fox holes are usually no more than about 2-3" wide and 2-4" deep A badger gouge is quite impressive and I can usually see the claw marks, and about 4-6" wide and up to 6" deep

Yes - saved the resized photo and noted in properties that it was much smaller than the original. I think this site is probably geared to people with ipads and iphones as most other sites are these days - I use a desktop
I use a desktop Windows PC - no problems at all. I can either drag and drop or choose the file. It may be that your PC is in a bit of a muddle - it can happen. You could try re-booting your PC and try to load the photo again. Your PC has a short-term memory called a cache and sometimes it realises that it has the same file in its memory already, so it just keeps trying to upload that - clearing the cache may solve the problem, and re-booting will clear it. Alternatively re-name the photo when you save it and try uploading that
