Potatoes in a grow bag

polbpolb Posts: 198
Hi ,

I've bought four grow bags for growing potatoes. The measurements are 35x35x45cm, 45cm being the depth. I'm thinking they would be fine for just one seed potatoe. Would this be right or would there be room for more than one?

Many thanks :)

If you're wanting to grow 'maincrop' then yes. If you're going to harvest them as 'baby new' potatoes, you could probably put two in

They're first early ones (swift) and I was hoping to leave them to grow to their full size, so I guess one per bag it is then! Although perhaps I will put two into one so I can compare and try some as baby news! Thank you! :)
