Olive tree

Hi All

i planted an olive tree 3 years back and although the tree looks healthy it hasn’t grown an inch. 

Any ideas?

    That’s weird - have you got a photo?
    They are very slow growing, but a bit of growth in three gears I’d expect!
    Would be good to see where it is situated and what size pot you have too.

    The site looks a bit open to me so suspect it needs a bit of shelter from cold winds, which won't make it happy.  Try planting some shrubs behind and to the sides of it to help with that, about 2m away.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I had one similar to this, it just sat for three years or so, I think they tend to put down roots first for a while. Then when they're settled in they really get going, mine is now over 8 feet high and producing olives!
