What are you going to do?

  • I have 30 years of bank statements to shred.
  • I've tidied under the stairs, but not the bit you need to pothole to access
  • Ditto garage
  • Inventory of spice cupboard. Ditch anything over ten years old with no smell
  • Tackle out of contract utilities
  • Brave the  storage coffin in the garden - maybe there isn't a mouse in it this year.
  • Watch films and read books that I ought to
  • Play chess with my OH. I haven't played him since I beat him by chance in the last century
  • Paint badly
  • Crochet worse

How on earth will I find the time??

What about you?

I've got about 4 boxes of bits of fabric and old clothes that I put aside to make something. No idea what though. So quite a lot of time will be spent staring into space wondering what to make

I have a couple of things I was making for myself, one knitted and one crochet. Somehow I always manage to finish stuff for other people but never the stuff for me!  My time may well have come - although if it stays dry I have a ragged piece of garden to prepare for new raised beds so maybe not.........

I’m knitting nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters for my daughters childminder group,  that’s if she ever gets her business back, had to close down. 😢

Nice to knit toilet rolls from grass, I have adverts now for turf. They pick up quickly.

Painting Possum's bedroom including installing skirting boards and a headboard for the bed

Gardening - beds to weed, seeds to sow, cuttings to take, pruning, new beds to make, planting out

Sewing - clothes to make and mend, patchwork tutorial to do, photograph and write up for patchwork club plus regular emails during this period of confinement to barracks and I have a large piece of Sashiko embroidery to keep me busy in the evenings

Cooking - one advantage of isolation is I can use as much garlic as I like!

Mosaic, furniture painting, bits of DIY and fixing.

Cannot go out except to shop for essentials.  OH has to do walkies on his own.  No friends round for meals or anything else.  Shutdown likely to be extended 2 weeks so it could be a very productive period.

Gardening.  Growing lots from seed and redesigning a section of the garden.
    Cross Stitch
Have two jumpers to finish for grandsons
    Glossing hall, stairs and landing
    Decorating Living Room.
Washing all the crockery on my dresser (the stuff that I rarely use)
Think the above should keep me busy for a while.
