How to treat my annual surviving fuschia.

I have a potted fuschia bought last summer with profuse small pink flowers. I assumed it was an annual. It has survived very well under a plastic covered shelter outside over winter and is now threatening to flower profusely. It probably needs repotting. Do I need to slow the flowering, if so how?  Do I need to prune it or cut back?.looks very healthy after a bit of tidying.

None of them are annuals , a photo would be good if you can, they do better with a pruning.
