    Well after spending over a week painstakingly wiping off the aphids and sooty mould my pieris is now looking much healthier. Hopefully with a lot of TLC it will recover and return to its former glory. Thank you so much for your advice

    It's gorgeous and a lovely shape too.  Well done.

    I think tho that you should consider giving it a bigger pot with some fresh compost so it has more food and water available to its roots.  It'll be stronger then too and better able to fight off pests.
