Can anybody identify this and know how to get rid?!

    Patience Andy...😁 Bluebell usually flowers around late April / May

    That first pic could be an iris foetidissima. They're a woodland plant and they grow like weeds in my garden.

    I keep the odd IF evergreen, ok flowers and bright red berries.

    I tend to keep mine too B3. Partly for the reasons you give but mainly for the reason given in your signature (not the "In London" - the other bit!) 😁

    Yes, in a month or two depending on your local climate (although I'm hoping the little ones in my pic are too small to flower). They self-seed so deadhead promptly if you don't want the little blighters all over the place. They also multiply underground very quickly so you might want to think about digging them out.
