Bird Bath

How can I get this clean?? before I rush out with the bleach or rush down Garden Center for some miracle cleaner, wonder if there is any other way, have not done anything, so might try just play soap and water first.

Ijust use an old fashioned scrubbing brush on mine. It comes off quite easily
    Devon.
  • I did think that, and now everything in the world outdoors has stop turning, I can stay in the garden so will have a go over weekend. Thank you

fill it up with water and leave it for a while and it'll soften up .
    Devon.
  • It is normally full of water,or do you mean soapy water?

I'd use soapy water, then a rinse out with hot water, but just a scrub would probably suffice  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hope I can show you a nice clean bird bath at the weekend :)
    Thanks all

A bit of bicarb or even sand will help shift any tough marks.Something abbrasive that gets into the texture of the stone anyway.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Done it so pleased, hot soapy water a bit of bicarb and a scrubbing brush and elbow grease,
