Evening everyone. It is so very sad that funerals have to be restricted when it helps to have big numbers to share happy memories. I think its a good idea to have a party when all this virus is sorted out. My sis-in-law today is talking about a big family party.
T'Bird, I remember you telling us about your friend's Mum.
Last night I didn't sleep so well so I was binge watching a series I recorded last December. (Strike - based on J.KRowling's novel). I was really enjoying it but the strange thing was seeing all of the pre Christmas adverts before I fast forwarded them. Full of cheer and tempting food offers from all of the big SM. All encouraging us to buy. It felt really surreal. I started to watch a few of them and compared them to our present situation. Made me feel very nostalgic and a little bit sad if I'm honest.

I’m off to bed now - very tired because I didn’t sleep well last night either. Nothing to do with family stuff - just couldn’t get to sleep. Think it’ll be better tonight.

    Sweet dreams everyone.

Bit late in the day......you've all gone to bed.
We've had a day in the garden, cut back some of the shrubs did a bit of weeding and cut the back lawn. Sat in the glorious sunshine every now and then  with a cup of tea. We took our time as it was so hot. Can't believe the difference in our weather. Had to come inside for awhile it was so warm. Finished cutting the grass when it got a bit cooler about 5.30.
Skyped our sons in the morning too,  chatted with them all. So very sad we can't see them, but this does at least help with catching up.
Sorry your MRI has been postponed  Rosie, hopefully once this crazy time is over you are able to get an appointment quite quickly.
Thinking of you Tbird. Hope you get a better nights sleep.
Hazel, you've been very busy in the garden, painting.  Did you paint it a colour or a wood stain.
Sounds like we've all been busy in the garden today.
Gorgeous flowers Chive, love the colour combinations.
A news flash popped up on my tablet earlier, Boris Johnson has been taken to hospital.
LB I can remember watching Strike awhile ago, good series.
Anyone watching the new series on BBC1 called The Nest, I'm really enjoying it. The chap in it was also in Line of Duty....that was a good series too.
Off to bed now, night night everyone sleep well.

Good morning all. Early start for me today but early finish, no more overtime at the moment which is a relief! Work is asking for volunteers to work Good Friday and Easter Monday I stepped backwards quickly! It’s unnecessary to be open in my opinion as no deliveries will be made and most people will think we are closed. Maybe I am being selfish but I really want my proper Easter 🐣 break!
Gorgeous day in the garden yesterday sounds like lots of you enjoyed some time outside.
    Happy Monday!

Good morning debs and all to follow.
Debs, nice to hear that you don't have more overtimes. It's your turn to relax and recharge batteries.

Chive, lovely display, especially blue pot.

I didn't go to cottage yesterday so the rest of onions is still on hold. It was sunny and very warm, but wind strikes were brutal.
Today is school again on the repertoar and I need to do pre easter shopping.

A very good morning early birds Debs and Ante and all to join in later. I slept better last night as I hope you did T'Bird. Ante, I think I had the same wins here yesterday as you did. Its calmer today but it has rained in the night - probably because I watered my plants yesterday! SGL, I haven't been watching The Nest but I might try it on 'catch up' I thought that the Queen was good last night and I especially liked the reference "We'll meet again."
