Just heard from my hairdresser Hazel, they are closed for the time being so you won't be the only shaggy one on here.

Hi everyone hope you're all well and coping with this awful situation.
We're staying in from now on, going in the garden weather permitting. Possibly going for a walk down the bottom of the road to the woods....as long as not too many people about.
All NT are now free to everyone, a friend of mine tried to go to the one just a few miles  from us......absolutely jammed packed in the car park, not a spare place anywhere. So she turned round and came home again😕 If there's that many people there, it wouldn't be safe in my thinking 😕

Sorry to hear about your FIL Topbird. How is your MIL, Big hugs
Hazel how lovely of your niece to take care of your mum x
Ante that looks beautiful, what a lovely place to live.
Debs, can't believe how rude some people are.....and so very selfish

Sorry to hear RB has left GW, if you're looking in, sending very best wishes and hope to see you when you feel the time is right. Take care and stay safe xx

Had a SM delivery yesterday, amazingly everything arrived.

Yes I did LB, I was so surprised. I really thought I would get just a few things. Only one substitute too.....just a different brand of tea bags, which really didn't bother me. I don't usually tick for substitute, but thought I should this time. But all worked out ok.

Night night from me too,  take care everyone, stay safe.

To all you Mums out there, I hope that you have as good a day as possible. NT is National Trust Hazel but I've heard this morning that all their parks and gardens are now closed.

Happy Mother’s Day! Got a busy day planned. Lunch at daughters then some of mine here for pizza and ice cream. Fiancé is going over to cook for his mom and daughter’s family. This morning I am going to garden centre with my sister to buy a shrub to commemorate Mom, going to be a difficult day for both of us but especially her.
Hope everyone manages to have a good day despite everything.

Morning Debs. I hope that you find a nice shrub for your Mom. Have you anything particular in mind and will it go in your sister's garden or in yours? Sorry just being a bit nosy.

Sorry LB not clear. My sister wants a small flowering cherry for her front garden. I need a shrub that’s happy in a big pot preferably with lilac or lavender flowers. Any suggestions?

Good morning LB, debs ans all to follow.

Debs, it's wonderful way to commemorate your Mom. I hope so that you will find something special.

The weather forecast was brutally accurate this time. High wind, cold and snowflake brought by wind. Well, it's still sunny😁. I'll go to SM afternoon to buy week supplies. Our shops works from 8 am till 5 pm and only ten people can be inside at once.

    Stay positive and healthy.

Jutro Ante. Enjoy your Sunday after you have shopped. It sounds like a good day for a walk if you wrap up well.
Debs, lavender jumped straight into my mind for your pot choice and there are many to choose from. Being quite drought tolerant they do lend themselves to pot cultivation. Good for bees and they smell nice too.
