I bought 25 ton of this 4 years ago for raised beds.

    which is very good.
It contains no stones or grit at all.
It's basically the silt recovered when they wash the beets.
It's very fine - almost like flour.

I agree @Pete.8  I’ve used the same ex sugar beet soil in the past and found it to be very good quality.

Great thanks for the heads up which one is best ? The 20mm one?

I had the 20mm stuff - very pleased with it, but I did add grit and rotted manure to give it some life as the top soil by itself is so clean.

Great! Also can you use it for flower bedding so I can double up on its use?
    cheers

Yes it's good for bedding too, but I'd add some rotted manure or garden compost to give it some life and texture.
As it's such fine stuff I found after rain it would 'pan' and form a crusty top layer, some organic stuff added will stop that.

Great I picked up the top soil , only issue is don’t have any compost left as the shops are all shut for the forseeable future , can I just put down the top soil and at a later date mix in the compost?also where’s best to get the compost if you need some bulk? Or just get the large b&q bags?

I've also had compost from CPA
I've had the bagged horse manure - lots of wood shavings but also lots of the 'good stuff'
Farmyard Manure/Mushroom compost mix - the bags were still quite warm so obviously still rotting, but very good stuff, lots of manure, plenty of straw and no wood shavings.
